Inoculating Loop Wire
- Consists of a looped nichrome wire fixed into a brass handle.
- The brass handle is 200 mm long . The durable nichrome wire loop is 24 gauge and 75 mm long
- Inoculating loops are used to transfer microorganisms to growth media. It is easy to sterilize and reuse because nichrome wire resists deterioration with repeated heat/cooling cycles.
